i think the harddest part of all this process of fading is losing friends .... ive been jw all my life and my all my close friends are jw ... im sad.
Believe me, the friends you make outside the WTS will be much better friends.
Many of the friends I have made in the 20 years since my exodus have become FAMILY. I love and regard them as true brothers, sisters, moms & dads. They know the meaning of unconditional love.
It takes time, but you will make new, much healthier relationships.
i was trying to watch this movie with will smith titled "seven pounds".. i got an hour and 15 mins.
in and i just had to turn it off.. what a waste of time.. so what are some or your least favorite movies?

"The Unforgiven" is pretty bad.
WOW! I daresay that has got to be the first time in history that those words have been put together and typed into a sentence.
The film won the "Best Film", "Best Director", "Best Actor in a Supporting Role" and "Best Film Editing" Oscars in 1992.
I gotta ask, what didn't you like about it? Of course, to each their own, but I'm baffled. That's gotta be one of the best films I've ever seen.

I've worked as a professional brewer (beer). The most important lesson learned from this is to be fastidiously clean. Use iodine and use it well. If you can get your hands on some paracetic acid, use that as well in your carboys/bottles/ etc.

Since I came to the conclusion 20 years ago that there is absolutely no God, there have been many, many times where I needed things. Money, housing, transportation, etc. In almost all of those cases, a solution plopped right into my lap/was found around the next bend/ got a phone call out of the blue/ etc., and ALL without one LICK of prayer.
See, blessings happen for us godless heathens, too.

As the elders in my JC were deliberating on my fate, I prayed earnestly & sincerely to Joe Hoover to guide the elders to make the best decision regarding my future. I was disfellowshipped. That was the best thing that ever could have happened to me, so, I guess you say that ONE prayer was answered, however, I firmly believe that it was just a coincidence. Even when I was a Witless, on the rare times I prayed, (it felt strange, even then) nothing ever came from any of them.
